A "Bethesda Software Classics Superbundle" appeared on SteamDB a couple hours ago, but the bundle does not appear to be active (yet). The link just goes to the Steam store homepage.

right now the price sucks, but with Summer Sale starting today when most of these games will get quite big discounts (there are no newest games, so at least 50% sale, many will go with 66-75% off) it may become pretty neat deal.

This is the only thing I'm tempted to by this far but for some reason, they have put the base Fallout 3 game in a super bundle and it won't recognize my Fallout 3 GOTY. I'd also have to buy the DLC for The Evil Within separately which seems a bit odd for a "Super Bundle"

Pondering if I should try to get some of the more expensive out of the bundle since the discount doesn't seem that great to me

I'd guess it's due to minimum price rules (about $0.49), so some regions wouldn't see cheaper items.

Is there a way to buy a "only buy together" bundle if you own some titles from the bundle? I can't see why they don't want me to pay for titles I already have :/

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No.

It was implemented as a way to screw early buyers, just like DLC.

You can remove games from account to buy it, but since gifting removal, you can't even get extra copies anymore.

If you're looking for to buy Prison Architect, you can buy this bundle http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1905/Introversion_Complete_Bundle/ and get it cheaper than just buying the game itself. Found this on reddit :^) https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/6j2j2i/steam_summer_sale_2017_day_2/djazcla/

This thread probably brought them a few sales more so they decided to increase the price from €0.93 by €0.6 for a total of €1.53 for both games. Quite a dick move considering the games reportedly include content like in the picture below, meaning even their €0.93 price is pretty questionable content wise.

They don't. Was able to get them all for Sisters in hotel, but I had to open and close the game several time and leave running.
For Run Away I couldn't unlock them, not even one.

An other bundle with 16000+ achievements priced at 1,04€ ( http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/3947/16000_achievement/ ). I don't own those games but after reading the forum it seems that you can expect some game crashes and a little number of broken achievements.

Funny thing is they have a 8 games bundle with 30% bundle discount only: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1753/Team17_Indie_Collection/

And you can get the same 8 games in separate bundles with more bundle discount, paying less:
35%: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1745/Team17_Indie_Heroes/
50%: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1795/Team17_Variety_Pack/

Most of them can be obtained for way less than that. Maybe if you got all of them but a few and those are discounted it might be worth it. As it is right now, for me at least, it's not even close to being worth the currently discounted price. For instance, I'm missing 33 items from that collection and my "80%" discounted price is of "only" 135,15€. Ridiculous.

Not really.

The 80% is the "total discount" you get, considering the sum of the base game values.

Since some games have additional discount on them, that's why you see 80%.

The final discount is greater than 70% because the 70% is applied to all games, but some games already have some discount applied to them individually, which stacks with the bundle discount.

This "80%" there will vary from user to user. The "minimum" discount will be 70%, since it's applied to all games. It'll be higher if there're more games discounted individually, and depending on the weight of the discounted, not-owned games, over the non-discounted, not-owned games.

They had a good bundle when you had a bunch of sierra games already, and then on sale the rest way cheap, and hoped to get the missing zork games (or even better in their own bundle) but now they added some expensive ones like Call of Duty, so it's becomes expensive and uninteresting.

Yeah but you can play pretty much any dos game too on https://archive.org/, there is a thing for having them on steam or GOG.

Anyway i was never much into text adventures anyway, i prefer Inquisitor and Return to Zork.

I actually agree completely.

I played zork a little when I was little, but preferred games with graphics. I did play it from start to finish about a year ago, but only for a project

They keep changing it; few hours after your post they removed some of the games (3 at least) from the pack and made it 80% off, now it's 76% off...
No good buy for now, maybe during summer sale if they don't remove the pack.
