A toaster should be able to run a GBA emulator. Find gbaoid + a decent set of roms. Considering a touch screen isn't optimal, you should have a look at the less buttonmashingintense games; such as turn based strategy games, or rpgs. Games that work great:

pokemon fire red/leaf green, all final fantasies especially tactics advance, fire emblem, advance wars, harvest moon... should keep you busy for months.

Punch Quest is pretty fun.

Pinball Pro is good if you like Pinball.

Can't think of any others right now.

Not really a mobile gamer, but I'm currently busy playing CSI: Hidden Crimes. It's a good game.
