Puzzle 1 - It's the full name ..
Puzzle 2 - Ok, ok.. his other 'Main Character' creation (different comic) kinda looks like him.

(Not sure that can help anyone who didn't know before anyway, but I don't wanna spoil it for those who already got it right)

Spoiler after the Giveaways..

Puzzle 1
it's Scud the Disposable Assassin from his own Comic Book from the 90s, created by Rob Schrab (helped by Dan Harmon on scripts)
Puzzle 2
The character is Grendel Prime from the Grendel War Child series (Dark Horse) by author and creator Matt Wagner (yes that was before Spawn)

"Obscure" would be getting into stuff like BOOM! Studios, maybe IDW, maybe Dynamite...it depends where you're from I guess...but yeah, going a little further afield than Marvel/DC/Image/Dark Horse or anything that has been made into a movie or TV series isn't obscure...

The first one was kinda easy, I knew it, and I knew I knew it, but it took 5 minutes or so of wracking my brain to remember...the only part of his name I knew straight up was the second word....the second pic though, NFI...all I know is that it's no version of Venom that I ever saw

Really? I haven't cracked that first image yet, it looks kind of familiar, but his emblem/logo is what puzzles me the most

I didn't even register that until now...I just saw his head and KNEW I knew it from somewhere...I've never actually read any of his books but waaaaaaaay back when I first got into comics I managed to get my hands on a few copies of CSN and they had a fair bit about him in that...

Technically, the questions are "Can you ~~~~" which means the valid answer should be either "yes" or "no". :p

how come manga reading sites are so common,

but comic reading sites are none existent? i know they are both illegal but manga dont seem to uphold the law i mean ive seen sites get shut down but always another pops up

A lot of Japanese artists/creators don't go after fan-translations if there's a large enough gap time-wise between the original release and translation one, unless there's an official license/distribution/translation deal in play.
Seems they value the world-wide recognition for their work more than potentially losing out on money due to not being able to their craft.

I like for the one; the right answer isn't correct. I am literally looking at the Google image, wikipedia, everything trying to figure out what "secret" spelling there is for the character, but nope.

Oh well. I hate puzzles anyway.
