Bump. I like surveys. Haven't done one here in steamgifts since the one by aElder almost a year ago. And do publish your results. I would love to have a peak at it :D

Did the survey. The last part was really missing "N/A" options. I don't do professional online gaming, and don't participate in the Steam community. This makes me feel that the result of the survey will be rather dubious on some questions.
As for the store I buy most games at, it's Google Play (more correctly, I do most purchases, and most purchases that I play; number of games, probably Humble, because each purchase is several games). There were no "other" options for most questions (for example, I buy at Indie Game Stand occasionally, more than I do at some other stores).

Bump. Send us the link to your dissertation so those of us who would like to read it raises hand can do so. I'm shocked though you didn't ask anything about RAM or HDD/SSD stats. Also, go Stargate :)

I really dislike surveys with "1 - 'I would not miss it at all', 7 - 'I would totally miss it'." questions.
I can never decide which number relates to what. Can't I just have Yes / No / Neutral? Why must you do this to me at 05:00? Why? WHY?!
4 is neutral though, yes?
Oh God and there's more of them! I hate you.
At least this set it clearer.
I feel good when I use Steam

Hey everyone!
As part of my dissertation which investigates Steam users' engagement towards Steam, I'm conducting a primary research regarding the topic.
I would greatly appreciate if you could spare a few minutes to complete this survey. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. I will not use the seperate answers, only the answers as a whole.
To motivate participation, I added 4 giveaway links to the end of the survey (don't rush through the survey though).
The games are the following:
Also, those who bump this thread will be put on my whitelist. I have also made a giveaway for those on my whitelist, the game is Fancy Skulls
All the giveaways will be live until 16th March.
Thanks for reading and (hopefully) completing the survey! :)
Update1: Wow, guys, I am surprised and also very flattered by the fact how many of you completed the survey and bumped the thread! :) Also, I forgot to mention a few things (I had to rush to attend one of my classes):
Update2 There has been more participants than I expected, there are more than 890 answers, a big THANK YOU to all of you! :) However, as always, there have been some trolls who completed the survey only for the giveaways but fortunately this will not affect the results as I will screen them out.
I don't want to sound insatiable but it would be nice to reach 1000 respondents (because it's a nice round number and for segmentation purposes it's better).
Update3 The survey link will be available until 1 March, after that you will not be able to complete it. The results are expected to be shared in late March (as I will have to translate it from Hungarian to English and I also have a lot of things and projects to do mid-semester :( ) I will post the link in this thread and also create a new thread, so if you do not want to bookmark this thread, you can still come across with it. Once again, I would like to thank all of you to complete my survey! :)
