That 5$€ whatever off seems to have worked out quite well for Valve in tricking people into spending. It doesn't seem that good of a deal to me. I wonder why everybody is so after it, I don't get it. Except you planned on spending so much anyways that is. Then it might be nice, I guess.

It's basic sales psychiatry. Give people a lure and they are more willing to just spend that bit more than they initially plan = profit.
It's a tactic as old as time and still commonly used since, well, it works. People are just rigged that way.

people are more willing to buy a specific item for 50% off $150 than the same item priced at $75.
If you're interested in this kind of thing, there was a great (accidental) experiment in the U.S. a few years ago. J.C. Penney is a company that was known for always having lots of sales. As in, the same $100 table would be on sale for 30% off most of the time (like, 48 weeks per year or so). Most items in the store would be on sale on any given day.
They got a new CEO, Ron Johnson, who had been responsible for Apple's retail stores, which were very successful. He thought JC Penney's pricing was ridiculous and instead started a marketing campaign "always low prices". That table that was 30% off $100, would instead be priced at $70. (which, just to be clear, is a pretty, good price for that kind of table). They marked down every item in the store to the true price, rather than the fake price + discount.
He started in November 2011, and announced his plans in January 2012. By the end of the year, sales were down 32%, generally considered the worst performance in U.S. retail history, and he was fired in early 2013.

you should refund Dragon Age Origins & Awakening, and get the Ultimate Edition instead. It's the same price, but includes additional DLC otherwise not available on steam

I'm not sure if it's the same with yasiranqa. I can buy Origins and Awakening, but not the Ultimate Edition. Is not available in my store.

Nothing yet.
Maybe I'll get Mirror and a couple of small things on my wishlist.
I've bought keys elsewhere in the mean time for GA's - its just that with the regional pricing gifting rules its less of a headache to buy keys from Voidu or Humble Bundle store.

Nothing. Personally the only things on my wishlist that i want to buy are either not priced low enough or they are not discounted.

2 Canucklebucks for Outlaws plus the bundle pricing for the three Assassin's Creed games I was missing, aside from Black Flag, brought the total to just over $35 before the lunar coupon.

Spent a wooping 2,09€ on The Swapper
I'm completely broke. Yet seemed like a good game, on my wishlist. And I needed 200 more tokens to get all the Piggy Emotes 🙄
