Art & design (also known as taking crap from people). I sometimes also write and do photography if the contract calls for it.

I did many jobs in the past: waiter, bartender, gardener, chemical analyst, store clerk, farmer, mailman, basically i had to pick up whatever job was available as there aren't many opportunities here and i'm willing to take everything i can get (but i still draw the line at the scamming jobs, like telephone operator and door to door salesman). Now i'm unoccupied and trying to pursue a collaboration for a videogame journalist job as it was my main objective, if you don't count "not being broke" as an objective. Still poor as fuck, though.

That's some variety, most that don't require experience or education but how did you end up as a chemical analyst?

It was an unpaid internship as part of my education. I did it for 4 months after the required period of three weeks because i wanted to eventually build some cv.

Door-to-door can very much be an honourable job, depending on what you are selling. (and on whose doors you knock--companies vs homes?)

Not here. Most door to door jobs here are about scamming gullible people into signing a contract for energy or telephone services. It's not an euphemism, the couple of times i was having an interview with those small private companies they always said specifically to target the elderly and/or confuse people into signing "by telling the most convincible bullshit you can find".
Needless to say, i didn't continue after the first trial day, but they always manage to find at least a couple of desperate enough guys who will do anything for money. It's not unlike a pyramidal scheme.

Full time studying. I recieve $140 from the Swedish government every month for going to school and since I'm only turning 17 this December, that's more than enough just yet.

Oh wow, over here when I was your age we used to get only 10$ a month, a few years later they increased it but only to 20$ a month. Use it wisely!

Student on a gap year.
Also part time hobbyist artist and volunteer dog walker for a shelter.

I wish the over-emphasis on education was reduced a little, the stress in the education system can be pretty high if you're a perfectionist, competitive person or have parents who want you to excel.

A good gap year? Or just a fluke of the calendar? By "good" I mean are you doing some living while you're not in school?

I wish the over-emphasis on education was reduced a little, the stress in the education system can be pretty high if you're a perfectionist, competitive person or have parents who want you to excel.

Especially when you see what you get from all this hard work and money now. Used to be you had to work hard in class to ensure your future but now you get out of school and it's the same crappy job market for everyone, top or bottom of the class.
If I could go back in time I'd tell myself to enjoy those years more and worry less.

Job?
Look for cucumbers and eat.
It looks for a bad man and eats it.
When I am filled, I will clean the waterside and adjust the amount of water.
When someone defiles the waterside, retaliate someone like a flood.

Probably not a job. It is a hobby.

Hospice. No one dies alone, afraid, or in pain - that's our goal. It's all about helping people to have the best quality of life that they can have, for the time they have left. I love my job ♥

Kudos. Back when I was in college, I was volunteering, reading to people in long hospital stays, kids mostly, and people in hospices. I liked giving something back, even though it was something small, and I loved meeting people who are too often lonely and needing distraction and company, but damn it was hard sometimes.
So kudos to you for doing it and loving it

That's what I kept telling myself when it got hard. I kept thinking I did it for my grandpa so it should be easier with "strangers" but it's not. But yeah compared to what you do it's still small

Working for a bank, business process advisor for financial markets trades settlement area (operations). Basically I make sure all the creative ways our traders come up with to make more money will work as smoothly as possible when it comes to transactions execution. Fun job, no routine and I'm learning all the time.

Content Specialist (social media moderator). It's a shit underpaid job, but I work at home so that's kind of good I guess... Been thinking of quitting since the company asks for way more than we can do and still pays us minimum wage (even after 2 years).
