Have you played the game?
a shame, because it gets better and better with every episode. i will never forget episode 3, for example. so intense. you really should give it another try. i promise you won't be disappointed.

it gets better with each episode, except episode 5, which is great IMHO, but confused a lot of people

Yeah :) very busy, ran away from Cracow from all the Catholic parties, also, visiting my mother-in-law., but everything's cool recently

Ep 5 was cliche as hell , but the previous episodes were top notch

I loved it until Episode 5. But finale just didn't work for me, it changed game into cheap, cliched love story which isn't what I wanted.
Funny thing is, at same day Tales from the Borderlands Finale was released. Day before I was overhyped for LiS and expected nothing from TftB. I got few laughs when Max was flirting with Jefferson and few other scenes, but overall was disappointed by weak, totally not-caring about previous decisions ending in LiS, while TftB actually turned out had decisions even in Ep1 that affected your choices and abilities in Ep5.

Played it. Overall, it was a really nice story, but far from flawless (plot was weak and predictable, and almost half of it was pure filler with little to no advancement in anything). Great characters and acting though, so recommended for anyone who loves character drama and wants something other than VNs.

Just don't replay it or else you'll realize that you actually had absolutely no choice through the game and everything essentially plays out the same way regardless. It actually tends to force you down the path it wants despite giving the illusion of choice.

Well, it's only the beginning of a story of course, and it gets better and more interesting with every episode,
but if you enjoy Telltale-style games, I'd definitely say that you should give this one a try.
I liked it a lot, but it's surely not for everyone.

I wish I could play it for the first time again...

I thought it was a good game but it could be so much better. The last episode was very weak, from the writing to making it so that all the previous choices didn't matter. The story as confirmed by the devs was changed a few times because of the feedback from the players and that showed on the final game. I liked the game from episode 1 to 4, some of the characters, the voice acting and ost was good but episode 5 really made the final score plummet imo.

Yes but it is more like a interactive story than a game. gaming mechanics are very limited but very solid story telling. im at ep.5 now and i think it takes about 20 hours to complete. much intense and lenghty story telling than any telltale game i have played. definetly a must play.

Life is Strange is a great game, the first time i played it was on the Xbox 360, i just played the first episode and i start loving the game, so i bought the seasson pass on like $20 bucks hahaha... is way more cheaper on steam so i would recommend it to everyone on PC, it is a MUST PLAY, great soundtrack, great plot, just... damn i love this game, the first time i finished it had me crying for like an hour :(

It's a great game up until the twist at the end of episode 4. There was no need for it, and no clues dropped for it, so it really was a plot twist for the sake of a plot twist. And episode 5 just ruins it. It's completely out-of-character compared to the rest of the game. If they'd ended it at 4 and not had the weird plot twist, it'd be a much better game

My favourite episode is 4 , but the only thing that makes me feel "sad" is the end ... in the end your decissions are nothing , so a bit dissapointed for that... I was expecting more than 2 "ends" if you can call "end" the short one ( don't wanna spoil it ) ,I still thinking that is a great game but yeah, a bittersweet taste after all , I have the same feeling with episode 5.

Actually, there were bunch of clues about Ep4 Ending even in Ep1: SPOILER IF YOU CLICK IT: there was fan theory about this whole thing since around Episode 2, if not earlier.
I agree about Ep5. It feels like they just decided to go with fanservice. And there were few fun moments, but it was completely different thing than what I expected.

If you mean about the real identity of the killer, the game pretty much screamed it to the player at the ending conversation of Episode 2. You could blame three people, of whom two made sense, one didn't. And surprise, the third one is the B movie serial killer!

Awesome game. You could predict how it's going to end, but it still was great and I wouldn't change that.
I don't understand why many people think that your choices doesn't matter. Without them the final choice wouldn't be emotionally devastating :) The entire game prepares you for that one moment.

Well, a similar thing can be said about the gun, whether you refuse to get it or keep it no matter what. That scene in Ep4 where the gun must get into your inventory can play out a lot differently. But that is the only one I can think of besides the bonus scene in the hospital.

Because Telltale thinks in long terms and building an actual choices and consequences type of story, even if the general plot is set in stone. Life is Strange, well… I am almost 100% sure that it originally started as a television miniseries script, and after rejection it was turned into a game, where the choice parts were added in post-production. That would also explain the sudden changes in course and the large delays in episode releases, as they needed additional voice-overs.

Actually, this was first time since... well, it feels like forever where I saw Telltale doing "choices matter" thing, usually their choices are "if you save someone, we'll kill them in next scene anyway".
As for delays and all, I think it's more related to the fact they didn't expect such an internet success, so they were rewriting it to better fit what reddits/tumblrs wanted.
For example, Kate scene in Ep4 was added due to Internet requests.

Kate's scene there is one of the prime example I think they did the choices later. If you look at the ending of the second episode and how they talk about her in the third, it was obvious that the original script never had any sort of alternative outcome to the roof scene in Ep2. The player wasn't supposed to do anything there. The Ep4 scene looked like as if they said "shit, most people managed to keep her around, uhm, we really should address that somehow…"
