True and it could also have something to do with that Payday isn't as popular as L4D2 is or that there isn't huge banner telling a game is free. There's a mention it on the Payday 2 weekend deal but that's really it aside from word to mouth.

The L4D2 promotion also happened during the Winter Sale, when all eyes were already on the storefront.

I started downloading it immedietaly when it got available. I didn't have problems with the speed, but it now dropped to 100-200kb/s. Probably just too many people downloading.
