I just got a deal with a brand new g27 racing wheel for $167 and want to try this.

I have a few games I have in mind to try but would like your opinion on what game is the best one to try with this new toy.
First time using a driving wheel so would prefer if the games you're going suggest have a noob/easy mode.

I'd definitely going try fps games with a racing wheel once I get the hang of it. Preferably CS:GO ranked then I get reported for griefing

Driver San Francisco. I have a G27 and once you get uplay working it works a dream. That game is so amazing, both in the story and the gameplay.

0.4 hours played, but I gotta ask, does it have noob/easy mode or some kind of practice like lap mode? I kinda don't want to start realistic unless it has a smooth learning curve with the AI/Bots

Avoid Project Cars.. it didn't live up to the hype in any way at all. Euro Truck is great relaxing drive game, and I haven't yet got NFS, Assetto or Grid so can't comment about them.

You can't go wrong with any of the Grid games all work very well with a steering wheel.
Then there's DiRT2 and DiRT3, DiRT2 being my favorite of them both but both awesome games (not so struck on the Gymkhana but is fun now n then)
F1 series are pretty good also, then you have ya simbin racing which are more simulation than arcade, Race On etc

It's a totally new experience once you've used a steering wheel, you'll never go back to using a pad again.

ETS 2 is a great game.
I don't have a supported steering wheel, so I play with my xbox controller.
I think you'll also get a good experience in the F1 series and maybe NFS Shift titles.

From what I've been reading, try Assetto Corsa and DiRT Rally. If you want the best simulators, that is.

I'm curious as to where you got that great of a deal.

I suggest getting into some sim racing, or at least giving it a go. You should find a free/cheap 3 month subscription promo code for iRacing. There is no better multiplayer racing experience out there. You'll just have to dedicate a lot of time to practicing, but it's worth it, even just with the base content.

Also, Dirt Rally (another sim) is really amazing and now has Rallycross, with multiplayer for it soon to follow.

If you're going to be using a wheel just for games like Need For Speed, just sell me your wheel instead at that price, because I really need one. =P
