There seems to be large scale hacking of Origin going on. Best bet is to change to secure password.

My password is jCTXSthunter2MBIr4A, good luck guessing that!

I wonder if this has anything to do with people using proxies and vpns to get cheap Origin games from the Mexican or Indian stores?

I doubt it (a friend had this sort of issue months ago and he has never used proxy/VPN for buying Origin stuff or logged in to Origin using those services). It's just EA being EA.

to OP: It's called football!

One of the first things I did with Origin was to activate 2 step verification. Never got hacked though.

I activated 2 step verification code in my Google Account and now I cannot access to it on my smartphone because it need a code, but I cannot open hangouts to see the code since I need to access my Google Account for that, lol WTF, what should I do now?

Edit: I fixed it now.

It sent as SMS for me. But that sounds like design failure.

I have a Nexus 5, Hangouts is responsible to handle my SMS's, and to access it you need Google account, good now it's fixed.

Fortunately, I don't have any payment methods setup for Origin.
