Creates Giveaway, loses Contribution Value.

I had around 370$ Contribution Value(While being at the Cap for Bundle keys, meaning my actual Contribution Value was around 376$)
A gave another Bundle Key away and now i am at 356.28$ Value. Why is that? Surely i shouldn't lose Value but just stop gaining it after a certain point if i continue to give Bundle Keys away, right?

What am i missing?

Edit: For now i have to assume that it has to do with the "All Zombies must die" Giveaways i did a month ago.
That game got recently added to the Bundlelist(today i think) maybe the System doesn't know yet what giveaways count as "before it became a bundle"

I thought it was just my imagination...

IIRC, I was (almost?) at $200 before the whole bundle keys being allowed thing... That dropped it to $150 or $130. Okay, fine, I could live with that. But now it's back down to $113.84 after I've given away a few bundle keys.

Maybe i'm blind, but i don't see a "Groupees: Build a Bundle 2" Giveaway Option.
I can't give them away as one thing.

^ this. Moral; once a game is included in a bundle never give a copy away again if you care about your contribution value.

did you gave away keys from the last indie gala? if so the bonus 2 games were just added to bundle list and were counted as normal games before

Nope, the only Bundle Keys that i gave away are from the "Groupees: Build a Bundle 2".
I gave The Ship, Frozen Synapse and Nuclear Dawn away, but those were not Bundle Keys(I know they are still counted as such and i'm fine with that, just saying that i didn't buy them in a bundle :))

if you gave away the games before they were added to the list (date is written there) then the contributor should not be affected, if you did. "se la vee"

Saints Row: The Third - Special Ops Vehicle Pack was just devalued last night. That's probably why your contributor value went down.

What really sucks is that I gave out several legitimate copies way before the CAG/8bitmmo exploited keys came here and mine are being devalued as well. I guess the "before it became a bundle" thing doesn't apply to exploited keys.

Ah, completely forgot about those. That makes sense and is absolutely fine. Thanks for the explanation.
Only needed a bit more Value to enter a Giveaway that was somewhat important to me, didn't own anything that i could have given away at the time so i just figured i'd swim with the masses.

It's a good thing that those are considered exploited now.

I saw this coming and when admin posted the list of bundle games, I wrote: "This is a list of games you will never see on SG again". Once people figure out that by giving away their leftover bundle games, they LOSE contributor value, you will never see these games again.

Inb4 "Good, i hate bundle bla bla yak yak". For every elitist comment, there are literally hundreds of entries in each bundle game. There is a demand.

No one loses contributor value for giving away those games. They just don't get any value added (other than the first $25 + 20% of non-bundle giveaways)

Not sure what your problem is. I read all comments in every thread that I respond to. The people who claim to have "lost value" after giving away bundle keys are missing information. For example, I already proved that SentoX lost all of his missing contribution from SR3 DLC giveaways in the post right above you. Did you read all the posts above, or just posted after reading the OP?

I don't have annelions full giveaway list, so I can't say anything there. And Defoey gives no information whatsoever in his post.
