Are you a cool kid?
Lies... I know lots of kids that are older than 18.

Probably in their own minds. Anyone or anything can be cool, it all depends on who is deciding what cool is. I think that's what the song is supposed to be about. Instead of trying to be like other people that are considered "cool", be yourself because everyone can be cool in their own way. Being a poser or conforming to fit in while not being yourself isn't cool and it will not make you happy.

You just need to find the other weirdos and then you will fit in. Or just find some people that don't have big egos and think they are better than everyone else so they can't be seen with anyone that is different (this reminds me of The Breakfast Club). Those type of people never make good friends anyway.
And then there are people that just don't like to socialize at all with other people and would rather keep to themselves. There's nothing wrong with that. You tend to meet a lot of these people online and you may not even know it because people don't openly talk about it very often. I would bet a lot of people that spend a lot of time on this site are like that.

Really looking forward to the day this potato fad dies. It's not funny anymore.
Actually, it was never funny to begin with. It's been turned into some weird trend or "Coming of Age" SteamGifts rite/thing that everyone does to try and fit in or "be cool". Just be yourself and you'll be fine.

Haha, true. I put it there for people who didn't want to answer yes or no. It's kind of the same thing with how everyone use to write "thanks" on every giveaway. That still happens, but nowhere near as often as it use to. And there's also writing +rep on a feedback that everyone can see whether it is positive or negative so there is no need for it. For some reason I still do this even though I consider leaving it off every time I leave someone feedback. I feel like everyone else does it and if I leave it off the other person may be expecting it and not understand why I didn't write it.

I never heard of them before. After hearing this, I listened to 4 or 5 of their other most popular songs, but I didn't really like them. Although I did like how the entire video for Come Together was parts from The Breakfast Club. It's one of my top 3 favorite movies. I recognized it right in the beginning when she mentioned not wanting to be there on a Saturday and then all the small (and big) details kept me hooked through the rest of the video to see what else they were going to do.

Cool Kids
Thanks for linking this song in a recent thread ozo2003. I never heard it before, but I liked it and left it on repeat for too long and now it's stuck in my head. I would of commented in the other thread, but it's closed.
Side note: Is that Anna Kendrick singing? lol
