Hi so I've just finished the mass effect and dead space trilogy on steam ( ME3 and DS3 none steam ofc ) and I have a few more trilogys in my library I just can't decide what to play.

So I need to decide between the next trilogys :

Dungeon siege,
Batman,
The witcher,

What do you guys suggest? I can't seem to pick my self

It'll happen for sure, the achievement icons are there for a reason.

I just finished up my play through of the Mass effect trilogy as well by finishing ME3 yesterday(on Origin because it's not for Steam), what a coincidence. What class did you play? My favorite used to be vanguard, but I just played a Sentinel and it seems to be my new favorite.
Edit: Sorry, never answered your question, go for Witcher, both are great games.

Only played the third Dungeon Siege so far, so can't give the whole series a fair evaluation. Sorry!

But I'd say both The Witcher and Batman series are great. Flip a coin, either way you'll probably have fun.

I don't generally enjoy the straight action stuff, and have no interest in super heroes. Without expecting much, I tried Arkham Asylum and really enjoyed it. It's not a good "super hero" game, it's a good game. Sadly, I never finished Arkham City - must have been distracted by something shiny and forgot to go back to it. :( Also, these are GFWL, so if you are allergic to that be warned... :)

The Witcher I had heard good things about, and was looking for a RPG so gave it a try. The first game is a great RPG, but maybe you'd need to enjoy that type of game to put up with the less than great combat experience. But it's an interesting world, led me to buy all the Sapkowski books I could find. :) And the second game is even better. For DRM, as you probably know, you can enter your steam keys for both Witcher games here to get a gog.com DRM-free copy. Yay!

So, if you're looking for some great action gaming, start with Batman. If you're looking for more thinking and less punching (although there's still a lot of punching!) try the Witcher. Good luck!

Don't listen to the haters, Dungeon Siege 3 is a great game. They're just all salty because they're fanboys of the first 2 games and the 3rd one is different from them in a lot of ways, so they're pissed off that the developers changed the formula. If you look at the game by itself and not as a sequel to the first 2 games, it's really a good solid game and a lot of fun to play.

I'd suggest first playing Witcher (just get through the first two hours of tutorial in Witcher 1 and try to get used to specific combat controls, also you can walk through Witcher 2 two times cause after 1/3 of the game the plot is split into two completely different paths and you can see the story from two opposite angles). Witcher is a great RPG with a great story and strong characters.

After that move on to Batman trilogy and in the end - Dungeon Siege. Dungeon Siege is a pretty nice party action RPG, although in this game the story is not the strongest side, it's more about gameplay and venturing forth on your adventure. The third game in series was developed by Obsidian - and they've changed a lot in comparison to the first two games. Personally I like better the third game over the first two games.
