Imagine there's no monthlies, it's easy if you try
Guess that's what you'd call good timing...just got around to finally play Styx (and finishing it on thursday) and thought about getting the sequel in the next sale...😁

Once again no disapointment, i was only disapointed at some monthlies ive missed.
Heck, i should go yearly by now.
I don't understand the common 'this months bad' and such. I don't recall a single monthly without really good games (and for its value); They all usually have 1 or more 'bad' games but thats it.
I think most people here are too specific in their genre tastes, and somehow expect a bundle without any niche to fullfill their particular wishlists- if it doesn't 'its bad'. Seriously?

Well, speaking as someone who is open to new things and generally can play just about anything: This Bundle is disappointing. Nothing really looks particularly appealing.
It's a big pile of "meh", headlined by the terrible Destiny 2.
Then the next Bundle early reveals... More "meh".

Dunno, something new, cool and hip. :D
I wanted to play NBA Playgrounds and Running With Rifles from the last bundle, but I missed out on that one.
The three ones shown for the next one... All 3 games are O.K. and I could play them, but I am not specially drawn to any of them.

Oh man, I kinda regret not having bought the bundle ^^

So, in the end, the business logic for this bundle was to promote it with the shittest game in the bunch? Because apart from Lootiny 2: The Lootboxing (a.k.a. The Game Where more People Play the First One Instead), this is a rather good pack.

Probably put together by someone who doesn't really have the beat on how actual players feel about games. They just saw "oh, big game published by Activision will surely attract customers" and put it there as the main attraction. I'm also willing to bet it did precisely that considering it was by far the cheapest way to get Destiny 2 even if you were just going to sell the code, I guess.

The reality is probably that Destiny 2 pulls more people than every other game in this bundle - by far. Destiny 2 got a lot of hate, but it also sold a ton of copies. It is one of those high-value AAA games that got promoted on TV and elsewhere and that many casual gamers are very interested in, even if the vocal minority does everything to paint it as a failure on the internet. It's also still quite new, so getting it for this price in a bundle is a steal for many people. So, the decision to use it as early unlock is indeed correct from a business standpoint.

this month was probably the worst, only one that is probably a close second is the second Monthly they offered, because they gave Payday 2 and the DLC away for buying the first month and that was what was the main attraction for the second one..
Oh well, next month's is looking decent enough..

Great bundle. Didn't expect so many high-value games with the last unlocks.

I'm not sure if unpause means "I buy the Monthly now" to Humble, so I can't answer your question.
But if you want to unpause a few moment to get the 10% off on the store then pause again, it won't work. When you pause for a month, you lose the 10% off for this month, unless you buy the current Monthly.

Based on the Activision regions list, Turkey belongs to "Region 5 – Middle East and Africa" so I guess that the corresponding Battle.net region for activation is "Europe" (but I am not sure about this one)
Comment has been collapsed.
Both keys get you into B.net's EU region when activated, but in order to activate the keys you need to be in the key's region. So a Dutch guy can activate EU key and play in Europe, Turkish guy can activate MEA key and play in the same servers with Dutch guy, Europe.

Per information from this thread, those 3 are regions for playing, but for activation different set of regions is used (at least for Destiny 2).
Examples:
https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/0X9fJTe
https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/oK4mNly
Can you confirm that it worked opposite way (for example, RU/CIS key was activated successfully on EU account or key from Latin America was activated successfully on US account)?
Looking at your comment above you probably got question about regions as regions for playing on the same servers and I got it as question about accounts, which key can be activated on.

So Destiny 2 is getting switched into a Steam game on October 1, and Battle.net Destiny 2 will be shut down accordingly.
What does that mean for things like unrevealed Humble keys, Humble gift links, and so on? I didn't redeem my copy.

Destiny 2 is going to be free on Steam. If you want your progress, profile and all that stuff to continue you need to link your accounts together so it transfers over by October 1st.
The Battlenet keys will work till the game leaves Battlenet on the date mentioned.

This reply is mainly due to the Destiny 2 Planet of Peace Exclusive Emblem item. If you are interested having this carry over to Steam then you want to activate Destiny 2 and the item key on Battlenet. If you have no interest in it or playing the game early and saving progress then it really doesn't matter what you do with the Destiny 2 Battlenet keys.

August 8, 2019 Destiny 2 will be available exclusively on Steam later this year.
Destiny 2 launches on Steam alongside the Shadowkeep release date in October, offering up a new home for Guardians following Bungie’s split with Activision. We knew Shadowkeep would be available exclusively on Steam for PC players, but it wasn’t clear whether the rest of Destiny 2 would follow suit. Now we know.
“Unfortunately, Destiny will no longer be available on Blizzard’s Battle.net after October 1,” Bungie confirms in the announcement. You will get a one-time transfer of all owned content to Steam, including the game, expansions, annual passes, and silver currency.
You’ll be able to link your Battle.net and Steam accounts to facilitate the transfer on August 20. A day later, on August 21, broader cross-save functionality will go live, allowing you to transfer characters between platforms and play with them wherever you want. You won’t be able to transfer purchased content between either of the consoles or PC, though - that’s just a one-time feature for the move from Battle.net to Steam.

The only title I didn't mind having out of Steam. Well, at least a lot of people will be happy about it.

Bungie said it will be 165 with sahdowkeep, so we will have to download 165, not just 90

The option to link your Steam account is live now (well, yesterday, but I forgot to post a reminder.)

Yet another reason why it sucks when humble incorporate external drm keys in monthly or regular bundles.
Screw them for bnet keys, uplay keys, bethesda nonsense keys.
And again, if they dare to bring epic keys to the monthly, i'm through with them for good.

It has been reported that HB is actively working on integration and key activation with Epic Store. So I think it's not a matter of "if", but a matter of "when" we'll start seeing them pop up.
Steam is external DRM, too, of course. When HB started the games were all DRM-free...

I feel like we'll surely see an "Epic Store Exclusive" game as the featured reveal of HB Monthly very soon. Maybe a good one as the first, to get lots of people to install their launcher. Perhaps they will even pay the dev/publisher the full price for all the bundle copies? Like they do with the weekly freebies.
Google tells me HB has 400,000 Monthly subscribers. If they put Metro Exodus in the monthly and Epic is paying full share to the publisher for each copy sold, it's what? 10 or 15 million dollars maybe? Would it be worth that to Epic for the exposure and for getting potentially 400k people to create an account and install their launcher?

That would be an automatic pass for me regardless of what game it was. I may grab the freebies on their platform but I don't trust Epic at all to spend any money on it.
