Wanted Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth and I'm tempted to buy the bundle. But the fact that the first unlock is not even a steam game is not something I want to support.

Me too, Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is in my wishlist but I paused this month because what would I do with that non-steam crap Destiny 2.
I would rather play Warframe or anything for free on steam than this shit.

I have enough will to not use any other platform other than steam and GOG, but when it comes to monthly ugh..cannot..resist...:(.

When it comes to PC games, unless I have a physical copy or it's only downloadable from other sources (such as the original version of Downfall, which is a free game that didn't make it to Steam and is different from its remake,) I only use Steam. So yeah, I don't mind if other people like those platforms, they just don't interest me at the moment. =P

Ended up caving in, wasn't really boycotting anyway just didnt want D2. But I sold it for a fair price and the 2 unlocks interest me greatly.
And I can always validate it with 1 month less before I'm unleased from Humble XD.
Hopefully it has more good stuff like those 2.

A lot of the discontent isn't about Destiny itself (although some is), but about the fact that Humble specifically said that all titles in the Monthly would be Steam keys (and the DRM-free Humble Original), and only added "with some exceptions" after this early unlock was revealed and people started complaining.

I like shooters (i have about 3,3k hours on csgo) but what am I suppose to do with Destiny 2, I won't use Battlenet.
Maybe it is a new triple-A title but to me it is more like they're giving me a middle finger and nothing else.
I would rather have Bad Rats than this, at least I could give it away here...
I'm pretty sure all that drama could have been avoided If we had the choice between D2, Prototype 2 (for the locked region) or the wallet credit for the store, but this and the fact they changed the policies afterward is a very dick move.

if 6 games: suppose 3 games are worth $15 and one game is worth $20 and another is $19

Just checked it on Steam and it has surprisingly good reviews. I remember a lot of bad things about it on release week, irritating voice acting perhaps being most notable. Don't know if they had fixed any of that, gonna have to take a look in discussions.

Same here. I guess that was just a first wave of "it's not what I expected". I'm downloading it and will give it a try once I finish destiny 2. I also remember some youtuber saying they made a mistake by expanding worlds too early, whatever that means, so if I get a chance to expand worlds before I do everything - I'll wait.
