I got a coupon for the annual subscription that's only available till the 25th, but I'm not interested in Destiny 2. Would I be able to subscribe but skip the first month? I assume not, but I thought I'd ask just to be sure.

I'm a bit confused why there are so many negative comments about this month. I guess, because the game is not for Steam? But even so, I thought that "Destiny 2" is quite a popular and not cheap game, maybe I missed something about it?

The game critics are "devastating". After a very short time you reached the maximum level and solved/got all end content. Nothing todo after that.
And SHORT by a MMO Game is not a good sign ^^

There is no option to create gift-link for Destiny 2 - only to reveal key.

AFAIK, Humblebundle provides option to generate gift-link only for unrevealed Steam redeemable keys, i.e. you can reveal Steam key or generate gift-link. I don't remember any non-Steam keys, which gift-link can be generated for.

I have a feeling that the reveals work in the opposite way people think.
They reveal extra games when they've already got their sales and people to get the early unlocks because they've already paid and can't get a refund so it's guaranteed money, by doing this they entice the people who might've been on the fence.
If people are not buying they don't reveal because undoubtedly a lot of people are going to FOMO over it and give them sales.

A friend gifted me the june monthly bundle, and omg battle.net is so broken i am just trying to install destiny 2 for about a week already, and the app crashed many many times, turning white, and also showing 0kbps on download, and now the bar it's pretty much completed but it still "initializing", idk what the F is happening with this battle.net app, the first time ever i have problems like this, also i already deleted cache, etc.. still nothing.

Then you're lucky. The closest place I can buy physical games is about 30km away. This deal is great for a lot of players (not to mention that Best Buy is not even a thing in the rest of the world).

The physical copy still comes with a digital code so you can throw the actual disc away once you link it to your account. I don't see how you are limited. The extra games will most certainly make the bundle worth the $12, but I was only talking about the headliner game.
It was quite disheartening seeing it worth less than the actual bundle price AND knowing they were releasing DLC a week later for the game (which is just the vanilla game in the bundle, no DLC)

Because it's tied t a store that only operates in the US, Canada and Mexico. Even if you're in one of those countries you may not have a store nearby. Not to mention that physical PC copies are literally a [paper disc}(https://www.polygon.com/2017/10/25/16544660/destiny-2-pc-no-disc-bungie-activision) so unlike products that come with a disc you can't even save bandwidth by skipping part of the download.
It was probably a better deal for console players but then they already have a pre-owned market to source cheaper games from.

Even if the rest is unknown, getting 6 extra games is still a factor. For example, I might not buy Destiny 2 for $12 on it's own but with the bonus games it's hard to resist. Knowing that one of the reveals is a wishlist game would make the decision even easier :)

If you look at the older monthly threads you'll find a few similar stories. Did you get charged, though, or is your profile just lagging behind? Hoping for latter so you don't need to deal with support. :) (I've seen both, the lagging has happened to me personally when I cancelled 'at the last minute'.)

Actually, now that I checked, my account says "next billing May 25th" but I cancelled early on this month (day after unlock) and have not been autocharged , nor do I have Destiny 2 on my account. Annoying. A day's delay would be understandable (limiting cron etc.) but this is weird.

Happened to both me and my boyfriend. We paused at the beginning of the month when Destiny 2 was revealed. We've both paused again and the games weren't unlocked thankfully. Funny thing is, I found out when I went to unpause it for Pillars of the Earth, but no way am I unlocking this month now.

Cook, Serve, Delicious is definitely not a game I would play, but The Pillars of the Earth looks very good. Thing is I have 32 Point & Click in my backlog (half of them are meh, the others are/look good)...
I was hesitating about this Monthly and I waited for the reveals. Now I'm completely lost. I'll flip a coin I suppose.
Edit : And now my friend who seemed interested by cooping Destiny 2 tells me he was actually not so hyped about the game and that I misunderstood what he said the day of the reveal.
