This is not just a game. It is a story. A wonderful, emotion-playing, thought-provoking story.
The only reason I didn't cry was because my eyes dried up from a combination of looking at the screen too long, and a fan blowing on my laptop (to cool it) as well as my eyes.
I can say almost nothing about it without spoiling it. Those of you who have played it know what I'm talking about. But, I can say this:
You are doing yourself a disservice by not playing this. Your life is objectively worse. Get it and play it now. http://store.steampowered.com/app/206440/

CRY. EVERY. SINGLE. DAD-GUM. TIME.

THE FEELS!
I have a strange disorder that prevents my eyes from producing tears under any circumstance.

Download and play the Sigmund Minisode DLCs too if you haven't. Part 2 is very good.

Oh, there's a free Christmas story, too! It's called the "To the Moon holiday special minisode," and you can get it for FREE here:

As people already said, there are 2 free DLC short episodes of To the Moon.

It's also worth mentioning that you can play the game in a lot of languages and not only on PC but also Linux and Mac. Plus, it was in bundles for $1. There is literally no reason not to play TtM.

I've already read too many spoilers for this game to have it still worth playing...

I just finished it and IMHO, To the Moon has the best story in a videogame

I was pretty angry with the game. For a while, it looked like an uplifting story on life and appreciating what we have then the ending part and mixed messages about what the creator considered better just ruined it for me. I cried, a lot and the game was great, but it kind of betrayed its potential by the end, I feel. Or well, what I felt it could have accomplished. I guess it wanted to pose a moral dilemma rather than take a side, but I like my stories to pick a side, since I am experiencing the creative work of another and it feels half-baked when they don't.

Still, it's great for debating and interpretations. It gives food for thought, personal disappointment with the story aside. I have also not played the two extra episodes yet, so I might view things differently then.

Actually, it's on sale right now at the Humble store, for anyone who is interested. :)

I heard they are making a sequel. It will be about mentally challenged wolf and his struggles to fit in his pack. It will be called To the Moon Moon.

Played the game thanks to my reading this thread, actually thanks to you ^^. It was more of a movie being run by the user using his mouse. Amazing story but no tears cuz I am devoid of humor :/

I don't want to play it because I'm a manly man, and manly men don't cry. We just avoid things with actual emotions instead.
