You get them for doing surveys, watching ad's and so on. :) This site is the reason I have 90% of my steam games.

i imagine they are quite grindy? (i.e. loads of time spent for little return)

It can be. For me I was only grinding out a few hundred coins a day until I upped my level with Crowdflower, a crowd sourced data entry type deal. Once I hit level 3 and opened up all the work they offered then I was making plenty of coins. If you run a cross an easy task you can make a good 10k coins in an hour but it's not steady work and it took me three weeks to get to level 3. I'd say the site is good if you're on a very limited income with a ton of time on your hands.

It's my Birthday
tomorrowToday! What better time to put together a giveaway in appreciation of this awesome community and site.I've been a member for about 8 months after being led here for a mass giveaway from one of the free game subreddits and then kinda forgot SG existed for one reason or another despite hearing about it all the time. Led back here once again for the Sleeping Valley giveaway about a week ago and man, I'm in love. The site's awesome and so well put together, the community discussions have a different vibe than anywhere else I've found, I've actually interacted rather than just lurked and the train idea is just so much fun. All in all it just feels better to give here than say Indiegala, nothing against them. ANYWHODILY! Done rambling, on to the giveaways!
I dumped some extra TremorCoins into 18 of my favorite games and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! *Tremor Keys work 99% of the time but I have had a few instances of dup keys lately, if you have any issue let me know and I will make it right.
New Giveaways will be dropped here every few hours starting at 7am EST 21st Barring Sleep. :P
I'm limited to only a handful of giveaways at a time right now or this would be a proper train. Sorry!
Current Giveaways
I want to thank everyone for entering and making me smile at all the wonderful well wishes, I decided to go out with a bang with these last two giveaway batches and threw in some old HumbleBundle key's. I've had one too many Read: One celebratory drinks can't think of any funny descriptions for them hic enjoy cheers!

Come with me! No Time To Explain!
Then Suddenly Werewolves!
You flee the werewolves but are lost and confused. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
You tumble down a hidden shaft taking 5d6 damage and must mine your way out.
You mine your way into a prosperous valley, what will you create here? It's a damn shame there's not more content to this game.
Your town flourishes so you sail off to a brave new world to begin anew!
Along your way you have many adventures fight dragons and demons and all many of fantastic creatures! One of my favorite games of all time, I remember playing the hell out of this on the Playstation
You fight dusk till dawn until you stumble onto a bad B-movie set, maybe you'll find a quirky companion and his robot friends to aid you on your quest just don't make eye contact with the goat guy
Whew! After all that I think you deserve a night off.
Having awoken from a well earned night of rest and relaxation, you realize you over indulged in libations and bet all of your gold on a losing hand of Poker. A maiden appears to task you with retrieving seemingly random objects from a list...
Yet more objects!
Even more!...Wait...You're really missing the enchanting scenery and kitten companion right about now.
A fever dream overtakes you. I was a huge fan of the NES Adventure Island series growing up. I let out quite the embarrassing squee when I found this game.
