I want to buy a wired XBOX 360 controller (wireless ones are pretty expensive). I just encountered this one on eBay (actually Turkish branch of eBay):
Here is the link

What do you think? Please answer on poll and if you should, please consider to leave your kind comments/advices. Thank you :)

edit: Spellbindinggnome, thank you for formatting topic link. Somehow i couldn't find it under announcements.

Bought it. I'll inform you with details (because it seems fun). Some giveaways might pop-up here when the controller arrive.

Is this XBOX 360 Controller real/genuine?

Yes.
I think so.
No.
I have no idea.

The wired one I bought a couple of years ago came in a white and green box. The wireless ones I bought last year came in a red box. Both were black. I have not seen white ones sold in a while. If I recall, the first generation controllers were white, then they changed something and started making them black so you could tell the difference. In the pictures, those look more grey than white though.

It's the real deal I believe. I own one as well and the box is exactly the same. But my box has a seal saying: Authentic Product - Created by XBOX Microsoft on top. You might wanna check it out and see if has one too.

hard to tell if they are fake. the easiest way to tell if they are legit is if they show the back of the controller with the microsoft hologram. then again, i think even some of the chinese knockoffs have that ms logo hologram too.

The red boxes are the Xbox 360 pads that are made for the PC, I've bought loads before.
