Two questions and some cheap Ga's

I've been wondering about something lately and what better way to find the answer if google can't help me than asking you guys.

1. Since that downtime of this site some time ago I don't get notifications about new comments and the button "mark as read" had diseappeared. Is that intentional because people didn't like to get a lot of them or is this just a bug? I don't know, I kinda miss the button to mark them as read, now all of them seem new..
   Answer: already got it. So I'll post it here if anybody else is wondering: "It's intentional to take load off the servers, it should come back when server upgrades are finished (there should be an official thread about it)." And the official thread. Now I feel stupid for asking, thank you everybody! Probably seen the thread and forgotten about it. -.-

2. I use xbox 360 and recently bought xbox live gold subscription. I know this is maybe not the best forum for asking this but I assume there is at least one of you that has the answer. I redeemed the free game for 360 of this month, can I also redeem the one for xbox one so that it stays on my account if I ever decide to get One and live gold? Do I risk anything by doing that or is that something that everybody does and it goes without saying?

Also, here are some of my leftovers. I know they are not the best games, but hopefully at least some of you don't have them yet and will enter.
