By the way, if anyone is wondering why I made the giveaway for Think To Die 2 public this time (and Level 0+), I wanted to give it the maximum amount of exposure possible. But, I also wanted to keep a special treat for those reading the thread as well, so I made another invite only giveaway too. ;)

Gather 'round, and hear my tale of woe! </hammy acting>
*gasps from the audience*
Almost a month ago, I entered two giveaways to win a game, both giveaways were made by the same person, and both ended at the exact same time. One giveaway was restricted to Level 3+, hidden behind an easy puzzle, and was for 5 copies. The other giveaway was for Level 5+, hidden behind a harder puzzle, and was for a considerable 30 copies.
I was very interested in this game, so I entered both of the giveaways. However, as the giveaways drew to a close, it became apparent that there would be only 30 entries for the 30 copy giveaway. So, I thought I would be smart and withdraw from the 5 copy giveaway (which saw 67 entries) in order to prevent a possible reroll situation (not concerned about points, the giveaways were only worth 1 point each). I opened up two windows, one of the 5 copy and one of the 30 copy, and in the final minute when there were still only 30 entries I removed myself from the 5 copy giveaway.
...or so I thought. I had inadvertently opened two windows of the 30 copy giveaway, and thus withdrew from the wrong one! By the time I realised my mistake, it was too late. The 30 copy giveaway ended with 29 entries, none of them mine. And thus ends the story of how I managed to lose a giveaway I had a 100% chance of winning.
I didn't spend any time moping about it, however. Instead, I was amused by my own incompetence, and wanted to share this tale with you, along with helping to promote the game and developer.
Included below will be a giveaway for 5 copies of the game, as well as several other games I've purchased to sweeten the deal. NEW! Several new giveaways have been added below.ENDEDBefore I proceed, I wish to thank the following people:
Tetsuj1n, for making the original giveaway which brought my attention to the game.
Tchii, for bringing Tetsuj1n's giveaways to my attention in the Winter Wonderland thread.
And the developer, FelGC, for making the games (and being an all around nice person).
The game is Think To Die 2, and it's a different sort of platformer. Instead of trying to survive the level, you have to find a way to kill yourself (or sometimes, yourselves). Sounds easy? Not always! I'm currently stuck on a relatively early level of Think To Die 2, but I've decided to leave it there until I've finished the original, Think To Die. Did I mention that Think To Die is free? No? Go get it!
