Yesterday was Ependymoma Awareness Day 2018, and I'm a bit late to post this, but I think it's still important.

An ependymoma is a rare type of primary brain or spinal cord tumor.

Two months ago, my best friend passed away after a 5 year long fight with brain cancer. Words can't describe how he impacted my life or how much I miss him. But I'm not posting to trouble you with my sorrow; I want to continue his mission to spread awareness and make a difference for those who are affected in the future. (He was the top fundraiser for Ependymoma Awareness Day 2017, after all.)

As such, if you'd like to learn more about this type of tumor, I encourage you to check out the CERN Foundation's education page.

And, as promised, here is my first giveaway train (ended May 12th).

Sorry for your loss.

I lost one of my brothers to a brain tumor. No idea to which kind, I was a kid myself back then. They discovered it few months after his birth and all of his childhood was a fight. It's been ages since then, but the memories last.
