My opinion, the movie is nothing like the games. There's just so much lacking in the movie, so much "strange" acting and quite an empty story considering this is Max's debut on the big screen.

No movies made out of games are good, they are all crap cause the studios sell the creative rights to it and the directors and writer do whatever with it, so it ends up being nothing like the game, period.
