Is hard to find any tennis game nowadays. I came across a physical copy of Virtua Tennis 2009 a few months ago and of course bought it, sadly it didn't include a steam key but at least it works.

It's rather difficult to make a decent sports game. Apart from football (soccer) and basketball, other games audiences are too small to pay off making a game that would be up to todays standards.

It shouldn't be that hard to get. People were warned before removal, so a number of traders stocked up. I even still have a copy that a friend intends to get when he actually has cash. :P

the only tennis games I see anymore are from nintendo. I've always loved tennis games (although I'm to lazy to play in real life)

I played Sega superstar tennis on xbox a while back and it was pretty fun. Wouldn't mind more games like it on steam.

Often a sports game reaches it's peak of what can be accomplished with current tech, ideas, etc. and falls into oblivion for a while.
Not saying it's the case with all sports games, but look at cricket, rugby, etc. Not much customer base to spend millions on developing new ideas for games.

Why there is no more tennis games? I played yesterday GTA V the minigame of tennis and i remembered how much i liked it this kind of games just like Virtua Tennis 4 and i find them very fun so why no tennis games are released since a few years ago?
