It's a little tricky to install, but I've even got my PS3 Controller to play via Bluetooth.

have you read about x360ce? abou libs, x64 and x32? about masks and hooks? it should work just fine, sisnce i got an xbox pad i dont need the emulator , only for using 2 or more pads. i think you are doing somehting worng, or the game has not pad compatibility, or an issue with x360ce, but im pretty shure it works even on win 10

x360ce works everytime for me (i'm on win 7 tho)
maybe the game isn't compatible ?

not all games are supported by x360ce LIST.
and in some games you need to modify the xinput. dll file name, the list above show the different names of the .dll file you have to use
