Do you have any other requirements such as weight or heat?
Some of them get pretty close to desktop, but they weight a lot as well.

ROG Strix 1070 8GB GPU

i don't own that exact model, i personally own only the rog 960m. but if money isn't an issue that's a killer but reasonably priced laptop imo. you can go even stronger, but beyond that the price for power won't be all that significant imo.

Thank you very much! Do you have it? It looks pretty good! :D

i have the 2nd linked one (added edit) -- personally i love mine and have no issues with it on playing games, however it's not a strong enough gpu for VR gaming or actual 4K gaming (it will do 4k, but not strong enough for high quality gaming).. -- the 1070 would allow VR & 4K gaming just the same as a desktop could handle.. xD

no heat issues what so ever on mine, it uses just intel integrated graphics off the cpu for basic windows stuff and only kicks on and utilizes the discrete gpu when i load a game up, and even then it just has warm air tossed out the side via the fan, the unit itself doesn't really warm up at the wrist or anything like that at all.

it can play fallout4 on high settings @ 1080p, elder scrolls online, DMC, and several more i just can't think of atm. only things it can't really do (mine being a way weaker gpu then the 1070) is VR & 4K gaming currently.. beyond that all games on high still, soon will have to start dropping back to medium on next gen games myself, but 1070 should keep next gen games on high settings too.

Holy fuck, that price tag. 0.0
At least ROGs are not self-defence/weight-lifting equipment like the Alienware… things (I don't think we could call them laptops). =)

i facepalm when i read people recommending alienware.. its not that they are bad, but my god you are paying literally just for the name of the laptop. but yea, i know, expensive still.. they said money wasn't an issue though so mine as well ^^ - at least i didn't go higher, beyond that is just pure crazyness imo.

Dell Inspiron 7559 if you're okay with a 960M. It's the ultimate price/performance laptop.
