The first one is a cat right? Cats are said to have 9 lives, but 9 is not the answer to the puzzle. What the hell...
Also I assume the second picture is a cog (which doesn't associate me to any number) and what is the third picture? A sword perhaps?

With what you just said, plus with the hints showing up I'm so confused and have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do anymore.
Many games use cats, cogs and whatever the third item is. How am I supposed to know which game they're implying? And then how do I figure out what number to get from that. Do I need to associate the number with the game, or with that item from that game. This doesn't make any sense at all.
EDIT: Both googling and bruteforcing didn't lead anywhere. I'm starting to get really upset about this puzzle.
EDIT 2: I managed to bruteforce the first question and now I'm even more confused, especially because of what the hint and the answer are for it. I have also spent the last 2 hours googling around to no avail. Seriously what the fuck is with this puzzle!?
Also I still have absolutely no idea what the third picture is supposed to represent. Looks like a stick with cog on top of it...
Also forgive me if I'm being rude, but after wasting over 2 hours and not figuring anything out (other then bruteforcing that first question whose answer ended up confusing me even more) I'm getting really furious.
