They just released this announcement saying the game won't be available in English right away. That's too bad... :( I wanted to give it away here to promote them, but now I'm not sure it's worth it... :( BTW, the game will be released on the 24th.

Art and character look a lot like Wonder Boy 3 (One that transform you to various creatures), just look at snake and how character hold sword and shield :D

I was about to pre-order it but No-English on release stopped me, well I might still pre-order it and considered an upcoming Kickstarter project.

I love Wonder Boy 3. I think it's not a coincidence, and Wonder Boy in Monster Land (the second game) is a more direct inspiration. :)

I just found out about this Brazilian game that is currently on Steam Greenlight. It looked interesting enough to me, but after doing some research, I found out it came to be after those dudes (the Castro Brothers) made a music clip called The Legend of Hero. They ended up making 4 "stages" (different clips), and after it was a huge success, they launched the campaign to make the game last year, and it was also a success.
Even though the 4 stages are in Portuguese, they made an English version of the first stage, and the game will also have an English version (you can check more info on the Greenlight page).
I'll surely give away one (or more) copies here in the future! :D It seems the preorder will open on Nuuvem on July 17th.
EDIT: Forgot to mention it reminds me in several aspects of Wonder Boy in Moster Land. :P
