How much time i have to activate all the keys from the Indie Gala Colossus

As the title says,beucase when i bought it,in the email that they send me they said that : "PLEASE ACTIVATE YOUR KEYS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!"
Why do they say that?

or someone hacks their database and take the keys in it, so that's why they say to activate them asap.

I think after 40 days or so you can't contact support about a problem with your keys.

I remember reading something like that when I got my email.
