Just wanted to say that Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition is on Sale at Amazon.com too at the moment.
Its on Sale for $7.50 and you can use the Code "Gooncave" at checkout to get an additional discount of 15% bringing the price down to $6.37 = 4.85€. This is especially cheaper for people from Europe where Dark Souls is 7.50€ on steam summer sale.

It did not activate it yet (cannot access steam at the moment), but it was not region locked the last time it was on sale at Amazon.com, so I highly doubt it is now region locked.
And yes, it is possible for people from outside the US to buy from Amazon.com, but you have to be careful and consider some things (us billing address, borderlinx, credit card). Google and the steam gifts forum are your friends.
