Future Soldier for steam?

Okay, I got an offer of Future soldier for cryostasis, and I was wondering, could I play Future Soldier even though its tied to my uplay account? (it won't show up though, since uplay is being a bitch)

Does the Steam version use Uplay too?

The Steam store page states nothing about UPlay.

Okay, didn't know as Splinter Cell Conviction uses Uplay also (I know as I have it)

No guarantees as I don't have the game, but Assassin's Creed III makes mention of it where as Splinter Cell Future Soldier does not.

Hmm, appears it does use Uplay: http://steamcommunity.com/app/212630/discussions/0/828925216454391881/

I swear, the only games worth while on Uplay trading wise are the graphics card promotion games, never had a problem with those.
