I've gotten BLs for making my numbered giveaways, and I guess it is usually from people who are not allowed to enter due to their lower levels. In any case, it's not much of a hassle since most of the people liberally using the BL button are the ones who hardly give away anything, if at all.

This is one of the few "white-list" threads I've seen that made me smile. Amid a sea of white-list farming and back-patting, this thread is a welcome change. While I don't make many white-list giveaways, I white-listed you because humility and self-realization are a commodity in short supply these days, and something I admire in people.

I have on my whitelist:
1.Random helpful people on the forum
2.Some group members
3.Moderating staff
4.People with awesome username or avatar
5.People who posted that they activated my key in the key drop thread
6.People who made me smile
7.Person who sent me a dupe key and bought the game as a gift even when I was fine with giveaway deletion.
8.Some random adds just because I felt like it

People blacklisted me for sharing opinion, constructive criticism, for being humorous ( ofcourse not on some serious thread) ,even for not getting what they asked for in steamtrade, and sometimes for no valid reason.
I even stumbled upon some giveaway where i couldn't enter due to the creator blacklisted me and i didn't care. Not that i went ahead and blacklist him back. Blacklist doesn't matter, there are still nice people around here and i love em all.
So instead of wondering about blacklist, move on :)

I'm usually being blacklisted here (not as much lately as I used to be though, I think), so it surprises me when I find myself on someone's WL too :D
Maybe you said something nice to someone, maybe you made a comment that somebody agreed with, maybe it's a temporary whitelist for some sort of event... ;)
Actually, went to check my stats here on SG out of curiousity, and somehow I'm currently on more whitelists than blacklists. Whoa, must have been extra nice this year then :D

I mean, I get the 80 blacklists, because I gifted only 2 items for 5 years, which is nothing vs the 10 I won and the disagreement with my opinions ect ect, but why did someone add me to their whitelist today? Makes me feel so weird and awkward >_<
