The Mortal Giveaway Kombat!

Hello everyone, I just had an idea for an event which I am not sure if it was done before.

A 16 people tournament which will decide who is this years best Mortal GA fighter!

Contestants will battle 1x1 in a best of 3 match where each round will be decided by the number of entrances on 5 day long forum GAs.

So it will be something like this:

Two fighters are paired and receive an starting and ending day and hour for the first round. Each one will create a GA on that time period and it will be posted on the forum for that particular fight. After the GA ends, the fighter with the bigger number of entrances will win that round and both will receive a new period for the subsequent round. The first fighter to win two rounds will go to the next phase of the tournament, which will continue until we find out who is the strongest participant!

The fighter that loses a match will be eliminated from this year tournament and will have to wait another year to participate again.

Some additional rules which I still need to decide upon using:

Minimum participant level for fighters: I have been thinking about 4 as the minimum.
Minimum entrance level for GAs: 3, maybe?
All GAs will be invite only with links on the specific forum threads.
Make each round be quicker that the last. 5 days for the first round, 1 day for the second and one hour for the last round.
Increase entrance level for each GA round: 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
If there are more than 16 contestants, use a pool to decide the 16 that will fight this year or increase the number of entries if there are enough participants (32, 64, etc).

I believe that is all for now I want some opinions in order to better organise the rules, so critics and suggestions are welcome.
