Need some help with my Wii

So I felt like playing my Wii after five years, but when I turned on the Wii I had a distorted image on my TV with a vertical black bar moving from right to left on my TV screen. I tested my Wii at a friend's house and it had no issues. So is it a problem with the composite cable or my TV?

Why would you use a composite cable? Wii looks great on component.
