I've got Fable III retail version and my question is: if I'll buy dlc on Steam, how will I receive key? Will dlc appear in my library with "serial numer" option in "links" menu or what?

EDIT: yeah, it's impossible. Thans for responses.

It will give you a key you activate on GFWL client.

Don't think so, it's only DLC and it must be activated in GFWL.

Why do you want a DLC for such a bad game? Are you serious?

Bad? Personally I find this game as the best rpg of 2011, so it's normal that I want buy dlc for it, especially since it cost less than 2€.

Go play Skyrim. And you will find best rpg. Fable 3 IS nice, but its not an rpg at all. Its a casual game without genre. Just casual. Like bejeweled. And its a very good casual game :D.

and R E A D - steam TELLS you, that you need STEAM version of the game to play dlcs. I had the same problem, and just bought Fable collection on steam. Now dont know what to do with retail copy xD

Sure.

Deus Ex HR, Disgaea 4, Heroes of Might and Magic, White Knight Chronicles 2, Dark Souls, and Witcher 2 to name a few.

If you think skyrim is the only RPG that released in 2011, you dumb.

Skyrim sucks. And yes, Fable III is casual, but since previous games was rpg, I'm calling it rpg(But I think I'll need to stop). I'm able to add dlc to cart, Steam doesn't stopping me or something. Also on store page it says that I can activate it through Xbox website by redeeming the key.

Skyrim sucks? Fable III sucks. Fable I and Fable II are better than the 3rd part....

Skyrim not really sucks. Its worse than TES 3 or any other part, but its, overall, just a very good game. But i dont really want to come back and complete it(40+ hours, didnt even finished first "Story" quest).

If you are serious, you should probably play a good RPG like Skyrim, New Vegas or DeusEx:HR.
I played a bit of Fable3 and found it really really bad. It felt more like a Action-Jump&Run than a RPG.

I think you can't buy the dlc on steam if you don't have the game on steam...
