They just made a sequel. It's called Insidious: Chapter 2, I believe. It's coming out in September.

Oh, sweet. I enjoyed watching Insidious, even though their taste of music was kind of...strange.

Noroi: The Curse, or something from here.

Noroi: The Curse is a very good J-Horror movie. One of the only movies that freaked me out. I say "freaked" because no horror movie has ever "scared" me. I just don't find horror movies scary, although, I have been in search for a scary horror for quite some time now.

I have the same problem but I found a solution. Watch the movies with your easily spooked Girlfriend. Whenever she jumps and screams I react to her and because im watching the movie it feels like its something scary in the movie. Its awesome.

Insidious, Sinister and Evil Dead remake were all already written (but those are the best of modern hollywood horror).
First SAW is not a bad movie (2 and 3 are still worth watching), but I wouldn't say they scared me. Same with Final Destinations.
The Collector and The Collection if you are into torture and those things.
Dawn of the Dead remake is a good zombie movie (Romero's originals are very good too).
If you prefer classics there is Misery.
Really depends on what you want to watch.

How does Insidious and Sinister compare to Paranormal Activity? It's the same producer and while everyone thought Paranormal Activity was terrifying, I found those movies quite boring. It's just jump scares for 2 hours straight. Therefore I didn't give a damn about Insidious and Sinister.

I thought that Paranormal Activity was quite boring as well. It was hyped up as the scariest thing you'll ever see etc. but it was boring if you ask me, and I'm not one for horror movies / games. (I'll happily read horror stories though)
