Hey friends. I'm looking to diversify the artists I listen to that are in the hip-hop genre. More specifically, rap. I am a giant fan of Eminem. I am hoping you can recommend me some artists?

Like the technique and the flow. But the storytelling is good too.

i'm not really into american rap atm, i only can recommend some german artists, but i think thats not what you are looking for. the only american rappers i enjoy at the moment are action bronson and dillon cooper, but they are both not quite like eminem ^^

Hmm, I was a fan of hip-hop/rap during my high school years. Now, not so much. But I still do listen to some rappers, namely RZA and Altimet (Malaysian artist).

Here's a bunch I recommended. The OP in that one was asking for cool, calm rap, but give a few of those a try you may like some. A good chunk of them are more hip-hop from the 90s, so quite different from today so they will sound a bit different structurally to what you may be used to.

Jedi Mind Tricks I like from time to time and Esoteric is pretty cool (rapping over the Twin Peaks theme I just think is sweet)

Ignore the dumb babygrande records thing that gets put in near the ends, that's not really part of the song, but I'm too lazy to find a youtube one that lacks it. D:

Try:

Jedi Mind Tricks, Atmosphere, Lupe Fiasco, Pharoahe Monch, Immortal Technique, Sage Francis, Organized Konfusion, Non-Prophets, Grieves, MF Doom, Blackalicious, Cunninlynguists, list goes on, me to tired to list all, hopefully you like some of that.

If you want your eyes/ears to bleed and still be like "why is this good, I don't understand" you can try Action Bronson...

Probably not too uncommon here, but most of the music I am exposed to is from games and anime, but there's some great hip hop/rap stuff in there.
Nujabes - Battlecry This took a while to get into, but after hearing it a few times, I can't stop.
The entirety of the madworld OST All of this is pure gold, lots of unknown rappers doing great stuff on here.
Jet Set Radio Future OST - Rockin' the Mic Not as much stuff in JSRF but it's got a great mix of music.
Gurren Lagann - Libera Me Awesome combination of Opera and Rap.
Some other people I like are Tyler the Creator, Childish Gambino, Blackalicious, and Dizzee Rascal.
