All the typical reasons: It's been on my wishlist for who knows how long, I play and enjoy a lot of artsy little indie games, I'm behind on the game club (like book club) I follow and they played this recently.
It's still early here so this is about all the effort I can muster.

Well I play almost everything I won ( except some dev GA's and small indies that I forget to check everyday)

I could almost copy-paste what I wrote in the "Convince me" part 2 discussion :)
Most of what applies to Ori and the Blind Forest applies to Child of Light, even if it perhaps has slightly less platforming elements. Beautiful artwork, side scrolling "main"/exploring gameplay. The RPG like turn based/timed battle mode is a difference, but a very interesting take, and it seems like it works very well in the game... and we're still two who would love to play it :)
An extra bonus is that the game supports local co op. I haven't found many reviews mentioning how fun this is in the long run, but I see it as a big plus that you can play two at the same time since we do love platforming together in local co op.
I haven't noticed the music in the game yet, but I do love a well written soundtrack. Seems like yet another reason this game is a must-play.

Me again :P Noticed your thread before and I think it's a great idea...only I didn't have a reason before to try and convince you (since although the games looked interesting I didn't have them on my wishlist nor could I say I've been planning to get/play them) but I'd like to try for Child of Light :) Well I already told you I have a list of games I have to play next. I'm playing atm lego jurassic world and after that should finish Undertale and Shadowrun: Hong Kong. I got all three as special gifts so that's why they are most important for me atm. Since I am almost finished with the story line in the lego game and will then hunt for achievements I could play Child of Light while doing these so you don't have to worry it will stay unplayed or wait till the end of my list :)
And now for my reasons why should I even get the chance...I noticed this game while searching for nice backgrounds for my pc and I loved the art! I love adventure/fantasy games and since there aren't many female protagonists that is for me a nice bonus :) I do keep it in my wishlist in my top 20 although I'm a bit ashamed of my huge wishlist and it certainly doesn't look like a valid reason. The thing is I try to keep the games I'm most interested in in my top 20 and for the rest I like getting emails for sales and if I only chose to follow those games I wouldn't get those notifications for price drops :/ I don't like those wishlists in general and think it lacks more options and being able to make special lists.
Thank you for reading all that and at least considering my reasons. Bump! :)

This game has been on my wishlist since its announcement at GDC. The music, artstyle, and tone just captured my attention. Over time, I played Rayman Origins on console and Valiant Heart on PC and loved them. I found out all three game have one thing in common and that's UbiArt. Ubisoft Montpellier really did an amazing job with this game engine and it's a crime that I'd didn't pick this up during the sales. Unfortunately Ubisoft is currently using this engine for mobile/handheld games and hopefully next E3, they announce they new UbiArt title.
PS: Uplay is fine for me.

So, besides the point of upl-- uhggrr argg-- sorry I can't seem to spell it right XD
I've participated over your previous one, Ori's and ofc I didn't win, now you're telling me that suck copious well put up convincing paragraph I wrote was for nothing cause despite no wining you've also cleaned (cleansed?) your WL everytime? wouldn't it be easier just to forget to delete certain members? ohh I see... well, you can't blame me for trying! XD or can you? XD hope you don't :P
Now, Child of Light, did I told you how much time I spent playing turn based games back in the day, when SNES (Super Nintendo) and RPG's were booming? no? was like 10 or more years, something like that. And when I couldn't get enough with that I went hunting for ROMS and isos for MORE of those, oh yes I did! snes, sega (shining force, breath of fire, chronotrigger?) does any of does sounds familiar? awsome times I'll tell ya :) Last ones I tried where on a GBA (gameboyadvance) emulator, all megaman battlenetwork saga, pokemon (dont hate the sinner :P), many others but that's like outside the scope here..
Child of Light, despite coming from U-be-soft like out of the blue, has nice artistic style, a plot to fill the gaps, tactic fights, turn based ones too, strategic part (advanced wars :)) and the classic powers or even djins. Oh, and all that managed without screwing the performance! oh yes, the game seems to work flawlessly and you can't tell it's origins :P
Will it be a part 2? who knows, but you can be certain this is one of these games that deserve to be played enjoyed!
ps. no whislist this time tho, do what you will, I have no means this time.. Thanks Assassin
pps. have a free bumpitidybump!

oh, so sorry man, I guess I misunderstood you cause of this: "just that every giveaway starts with a clean slate." and my last line says wishlist not white-list :P I'm referring to the screenshot of our steam profile wishlist, in this case, Children of Light isn't there on mine :P
a misspell did this mess not me! XD haha

Hello there! I almost missed this chance to comment since I have been busy a few days ago. Weekends are a good thing.
Anyways, my reason is still the same as the first time I entered your generous giveaways. The RPG element is a big plus for me since it'll most likely occupy me for weeks before I finish it. Well, it takes me that long of a time since I always try to 100% complete most of the RPG games that I play. Specially when I know that I missed something on a certain level/location or missed a requirement of a certain quest. Another reason that might convince you that I'll play this game is that I've really wanted to have this and entered various giveaways to no avail. :(
P.S. - Notice the date on the screenshot. lol. I was supposed to leave the comment as soon as I saw your thread but alas. I didn't had the time back then.

Child of Light!
Convince away :3. Shameless advertising here (because the soundtrack is incredible).
P.S.: To those who were added to my whitelist and got removed - sorry guys, not that I don't blue love you anymore - just that every giveaway starts with a clean slate.
P.P.S.: More info
P.P.P.S.: Alright guys, we all know uplay sucks - we didn't come here to discuss that (and no I don't work for ubi nor am I a supporter of multiple level DRMs - it is, indeed, quite annoying (oh and no I never had any issues with Uplay).
