Pretty good help for me! Also, I don't mind lowering my settings by a ton to play a game. Graphics are of secondary importance to me

If Borderland 2 runs fairly well, I'd say try to look at games and see how they compare to it, anything that needs a 512mb video card you should probably stay clear from, anything that had high spec needs for it's release (gta 4 comes to mind) should probably stay clear from.
I'd take a guess from experience that if it doesn't need above 2.0 dual core (I think bl2 needed 2.2 or 2.4ish) and 256 video you should be alright for playing it. While www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri can be inaccurate, it can explain the requirements a bit better then some steam listings do. (you need graphics card xb4q or later instead of your card needs at least 512 mbs)

I recently obtained some money to buy some games in the summer sales.
But I don't know what games to get which my laptop can run without super low framerates.
Laptop Specs:
CPU: AMD A6-3420M APU
RAM: 6gb
GPU: AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6520G
So far I have managed to play Borderlands 2, ARMA II and Resident Evil 5 with 30+ framerates offline.
Thanks! (:
