Same here, just received a mail telling they will refund me. Can they do this???

If you are from EU FR, they probably can not.
Unless the price is OBVIOUSLY erroneous, the seller has obligation to fulfill orders. In other words, consumer laws protect the buyer in good faith, but if someone tries to use an obvious glitch, then the selling can be cancelled legally.
20 EUR instead of 70 is a big cut, but it seems not to be an obvious glitch to me... That being said, only the judge's opinion matters. And for that, someone has to sue GMG :-)

They can in the EU, the law allows companies to not honour deals if a mistake was made. They obviously need to provide refunds, and it's not uncommon for companies to let sales go through to avoid unhappy customers, but GMG is allowed to do this. Individual countries can have different laws though

I think you are right, what I described may be a french thing only. Thanks for correcting my mistake !

At least in Finland, mistake needs to be obvious. 75% from games is extremely common, I doubt it would be obvious, especially as MSRP and Discount % was right and there probably was other products with similar discounts. (If it was brand new game, I think that could give GMG win, but it's not)
Though it's not worth complaining about, I doubt GMG would follow ruling (which likely would be GMG having to pay you difference between price elsewhere/sale price) as there's no real penalty.

yep:(

Is there any other industry that is allowed to just take back something they sold to you because they didn't like the price they sold it to you at? Tired of this industry getting away with so many illegal malpractices. I used GMG credit and a discount code to legally purchase this game and guess what...I wasn't refunded any of that...

At least in Finland there actually is precedent. So it can happen.
Imagine having to return chairs you bought 14 months after buying lol.

Surprised this is the only price mistake they've cancelled/refunded orders for recently. There was one for Insurgency sandstorm gold edition, dead by daylight silent hill edition, and nightmare reaper.
I guess they had to do it cuz Microsoft is the publisher

wrote them yesterday, this is what i got now
"Hello aperager,
Thank you for getting in touch with us, and thank you for your patience while you waited for a reply.
During the early hours of the 12th of July, 2022 we became aware that we had accidentally discounted Age of Empires IV: Deluxe Edition far beyond the price agreed with our partners. This meant that many customers were able to take advantage of a deal which had unintended consequences.
As a result of this error we decided to take the exceptional step to refund every customer who had purchased this game in full. As part of this process, all keys sold at this incorrect price were revoked.
We understand that this is a frustrating situation for every customer affected and we apologise for the incorrect discount on Age of Empires IV: Deluxe Edition and the disruption this has caused.
To ensure this kind of issue does not occur again we have overhauled our internal procedures by adding several checks to make sure that when you see a price on our site, you know it’s a price you can trust. We know that regaining trust in us will take time.
Kind regards,
Matt

Personally I think they told MS about the price mistake and either Valve or MS haven't attempted to revoke yet. I can't remember if the process is completely automated through Valve. I say this because after looking into it, Insurgency keys were revoked recently after a price mistake and it happened fairly quickly so I don't think GMG is saying it to discourage buyers

GMG got away with theft. Pretty disappointing. I've never had a key 'revoked' by Kinguin.

GMG has Age of Empires IV: Digital Deluxe Edition at 77% off, most likely a price glitch.
