All keycaps will shine. If you go with PBT ones, they will not shine as fast but they definitely will shine eventually. You can use isopropyl alcohol to clean it though.

I wonder if plasti dip spray works on keyboards?

Shout at your own body because it produces dead skin and natural oils.

I personally like the feel of the used-up keyboard. It reminds me of my old Amiga, which had the whole keyboard like that :-).

It also proves that you actually do something with your computer. Sometimes I come across somebody who claims to be e.g. a developer and a single look at his keyboard can confirm if he really is or if he's faking.

Also: statistics: you can track which keys you press the most ;-).

perhaps you are eating chips or such while gaming -> fatty keyboards
