Just redeem it yourself now and replace link by Steam key once GA ends, before sending the gift to winner.

- Do not generate a key or gift link (either one) until you are ready to deliver said key/gift link to your winner.
- Deliver the key/gift link as soon as it is generated.
- If your winner claims that the key has been used, tell HB that you generated the key/link and immediately gave it to your friend, but he says it is invalid. Ask for a reset of that key/link so that you may try again, then return to step #1.

First, Steam stops to allow stocking and trading of games with their "direct ship to friend" update. Now, Humble Bundle blacklists you from any future support requests on keys if they ever find out your purchase wasn't for personal use. What's this all coming to?
Our options for GA sources are becoming more and more limited.
IndieGala probably supports GA, seeing they have their own GA platform and understand many of their sales comes from GAs. What about Fanatical, anyone know what's their corporate policy on the manner?

I suppose that, within some interpretation, it would be considered a form a game trading, though. We give games, and in exchange get better odds of getting games. Also, SG can be used as a platform for actual trading.
What I don't get is why they'd care about trading in the first place. Reselling, I get it: someone buys a bundle at 95% off, resell the separate games a higher price and make untaxed illegitimate profit. But trading games is harmless, why would they care?

I made some giveaways for Humble Bundle games via gift link. The winners reported to me that the keys were already redeemed. As that can't be correct I contacted Humble Bundle support. This is the answer I got:

It should be noted that both trading and reselling keys on the “grey market” affects the industry’s ability to flourish and support our awesome developers and marketplaces like Humble Bundle, as noted in this article here. While the practice of reselling damages trust from developers, it should also be noted that a majority of resold/obtained games in this arena are purchased with stolen personal information. Ultimately, this practice negatively impacts the developers, Humble Bundle, and gamers all at once when these titles are found to be fraudulent purchases.
