+1.
I should rewatch it soon. It's been a while.

I'm not really an anime type of dude, but I'll usually rewatch Samurai Champloo or Ghost In The Shell once a year. Honorable mention goes to Vampire Hunter D.

Champloo was actually the last anime I watched. I'm around halfway through it but I put it on hold cause of exams. Really enjoyed it so far.

Samurai Champloo is my favorite too.
I finally managed to see some few other anime shows in the past few years, as Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Attack on Titan, but none of them managed to convince me from the very start to the end.
Death Note had some really great episodes, especially at the beginning, but then it turns into a dragging experience. That struggle seems to exist for all those shows with more episodes. Samurai Champloo was just ... perfect.

Iczer-3/Iczer Reborn The first anime I ever had imported.
. I literally made a VHS player die because I watched the tapes so much.

Not a title I see people list too often these days. Kudos to you for your excellent taste.

I'm actually not up to date with the whole franchise, still haven't watched Apocrypha or anything other than the ufotable ones (and the 2006 stay night).
But as I said Raider from Fate/Zero is my favorite for now (Iskandar/Alexander the Great)

Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Devil Man are my top picks. Devil Man...well just because.

That's impossible to say. D: If I had to choose, I'd probably pick One Piece because I have been attached to it since I was a child and it's still running (though in comparison to the manga, the anime is annoying as hell). If movies also count, I might say The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. But there are many more great anime series, some of which only due to nostalgia, some for various other reasons.

Sadly it suffers from "too many episodes" syndrome where from 25min you have 5 min opening, 5 min recolection what happend, 15min story which includes tricks to make it last longer and then 5 min ending...
One can hope they remake it like dragonball z without that nonsense, will be shorter to watch but without any loss to quality.

On the plus side, you skip the intro, outro and recap and you can generally put down twice as many episodes in a night versus most other series.
That being said, I got to the filler after the Crocodile saga and stopped watching.

Can't lie, kinda jealous. I know a LOT of ill shit happens later on in the series, I just can't find the time to go back and start watching again from where I left off.

My favorite anime is Shingeki no Kyojin, the soundtrack is so epic and has a sensational story (Hiroyuki Sawano is a genius)!
