Question about HIB6

I just got the Gratuitous Space Battles from the bundle and when I opened it I got a different key from steam than what HIB6 gave me, so do I just ignore the one I got from HIB6 cuz I already entered the steam one?

For Gratuitous, you might be thinking of the Multiplayer Key. The CD key and the Multiplayer Key are two different things. Check to see if that's what one of the keys is.
