There are probably hundreds of farming accounts. As the user base is growing almost exponentially, more and more are going to pop up. I'm not sure reporting is going to do too much to help...

Max 1 invite per week/month/year/decade? That should slow the farers down and make everyone think twice about who they "waste" an invite on.

It should be a simple matter to see which accounts have generated a suspicious number of codes and ban every last one of them...

The cost for invites is dynamic and gets more expensive as the rate of people joining gets higher. I'm pretty sure thats how it works

I think an invite should be generated at every $15/$25 worth of giveaways. This will at least keep people from spamming them like mad, or at least they'd be contributing to the website instead of bringing more leechers and lurkers into it.

Of course this might result in people paying for invites. It's a tough situation.

this is an interesting proposition... contributors get to determine who or how many people get added... I think this should be discussed further. Maybe start a new topic on this and see what people think?

They need to set it to 300p for invites, I still have 2 friends waiting for invites, but I don't mind using up 300p x2
