Can someone please tell me if this key for GW2 Heroic Edition from Amazon Prime Gaming rewards can be activated in all regions? Or it depends which region you've picked in your Amazon account?

For anyone redeeming the Heroic Edition code for a new account or for upgrading a previous free account you have, don't forget that you can link your Guild Wars 1 account (if you have one!) to your Guild Wars 2 account in order to claim the Hall of Monuments rewards for completing certain tasks/titles/achievements in Guild Wars 1. If you DO link your GW1 account to your GW2 account, your GW1 account will have it's login credentials changed to the same as your GW2 login credentials (both accounts will have the same user name and password).

If you already have a Guild Wars 2 account, redeeming the Heroic Edition for a secondary account will set you up nicely to use the secondary account as free additional storage of inventory items, both in the Bank (shared across all characters on that account) and in each character's own inventory - which can be expanded both with the included free 18 slot bag from Heroic Edition, and from crafted or bought bags ranging from 4 slots to 20 slots, with some 24, 28, and 32 slot bags available through achievement rewards and from buying Path of Fire (an expansion). This allows your primary account to send items to your secondary to store, freeing up inventory and bank space on your primary account for the things you need or use the most.

And finally, for all new players to the game using the Heroic Edition code, create all your characters you have slots for ASAP, because each year they receive birthday presents on the day the character was created. These contain a variety of items like boosters, dye packs, finishers, mini-pets and more!
