Looking at getting elder scrolls online...

haven't played it. but steam don't usually publish their future deals.
you can wait for Winter sale (or something similar - if it will happen) and hope for a sale...

do not buy it, it's nothing special, just another mmo, it tries only to pretend to be somehow connected to the rest of the elder scrolls games

Not really worth it, even though just an rpg, Skyrim is still better like tenfold. So if you want to play some elder scroll game - just keep playing skyrim till your brain melts and your eyes bleed out, that's what I'm doing at least...

Wait for it to go F2P.

Thanks for the info. The subscription is a big factor. Hell if it was just the once off most likely wouldn't even think about it much more.

It's ok, it has a pretty interesting story and the questing system isn't too bad. However, it falls short on many, many aspects.

As of right now I'd say it's still not worth the monthly sub, but the devs are hard at work revamping their whole game to make it more enjoyable (adding a justice system where you can kill/loot most npcs, revamping end-game progression with the champion system, etc..). If they deliver, then the game may actually be very fun.

So my advice for now is to keep an eye on the game, but to wait a few months before actually getting in.
