It's near the front of my backlog's to-play queue

Still looks great though, kinda like it could've been a concept drawing. :)

I absolutely loved that game too. Looked like Monkey Island with dogs, so it instantly went on my wishlist. I was planning on buying it on sale (on its own, that is), when a bundle with it in it popped up. Instant buy. Gonna replay it when the solutions have faded from my memory a bit more.

I missed this one, but I do like adventure games so I might have to pick up Jolly Rover at some point.
But I did have a great experience with an indie game I picked up in a bundle. I got around to playing Trapped Dead, and despite a few annoying bugs and the poor reviews, I actually love that game. I went in not expecting much, and was very surprised.

There's MacGuffin's Curse from the same developer, which is a different style but also supposed to be a good game.
To my shame even though I wear a Jolly Rover avatar I haven't yet finished the game. I'll try to do it soon.

Thanks for the recommendation! I will definitely check this out soon!

I don't know, I didn't enjoy it at all. If you have played the Monkey Island series, you would have noticed a disturbing amount of similarities, so it was pretty obvious they just used it as a base and changed all the characters to dogs.
In the end it was just a dull MI clone and I couldn't appreciate the point of it.

So I picked up Jolly Rover with one of the indie bundles and am having so much fun with it.
Jolly Rover is a point and click semi-puzzle adventure. It has a wonderfully creative storyline, with many subtle references to historical novels, and tons of great humor.
For the longest time I was thinking it was a kids game, but the references I don't think they would understand.
And then later on in the game it starts to get more adult.
Needless to say.... Jolly Rover..... makes me start to like furry porn
