when you report someone, you can give an optional link, if enough people link to it and can confirm it is you who wrote it then it does not matter as it is against a ToS agreement with steamgifts. (The ToS agreement is that you will follow rules and regulations set in place by moderators and you confirm that you agree to abide by this when you first sign up for this website with your steam information)

Well, I know that one person who was bragging on gamefaqs about trolling sg got permanently suspended. Suspension was evidently revoked after a couple of months when he promised to stop trolling.
