But you should really name why you dislike it.

I dislike it cause you need an hour to run trough graphics settings and configs to make it playable.
The interface is awkard and not noob friendly. Zombies are very badly animated and their AI is poor

i have no issue with it at all.

and the scriptor are fun.

WarZ is bullshit and a copy & paste game.....DayZ Mod for ARMAII and standalone is great!

DayZ is mod for Arma2.So you have to pay for the game. I haven't tried it yet, but I am willing to buy it , because it looks good for me. As for graphics I can deal with lower ones, because the mod looks nice . And if you state it's boredom simulator then you are mistaken, because these games are not supposed to be played alone. You have to gather good people to play it with, form a team and try to survive.

Not for me, although i like the idea and all, day z is straight up boring. But that's just my personal opinion.

I don't understand why you wouldn't know what you're getting into if you've decided to play DayZ. It's obviously not a runnin' and gunnin' action game. It's not like it was shoved in your face because it's not even a standalone game yet.

I mean, if you bought ARMA2 just for DayZ, you probably would have done so because you, I don't know, maybe LIKED the genre?

It's meant to be a Zombie Surviving simulator, not "Left 4 Dead shoot milions of zombies". Everyone has different opinions and likes different types of games, i don't see a point to this thread.
I personaly like playing Survival games (REAL survival games), where you search for provisions and ways to survive. The DayZ mod is not that ofcorse, it has a lot of flaws, but then agains it's just a mod for an already old game. I hope they improve a lot of things in the Standalone now that they have their own engine.
